How To Attract Prospects To You

So, how do you attract prospects to you?

First, let’s look at the psychology of attraction. Some of these concepts are discussed in detail in Mike Dillard’s “Magnetic Sponsoring”, who is regarded as the Father of Attraction Marketing for network marketers.

Contrary to what people think, attraction is not a choice. It is deep within the human emotion, and it has been with us since the beginning.

In the past, humans lived in groups or tribes to survive. These groups typically have a chief, or leader, whose primary responsibility is to protect the people, and in return the people would follow him.

They do this until they gain skills to survive on their own.

This survival instinct has always been with us, and to some extent we still live like this. Employees follow the CEO, family members follow the head of the house.

In the past, people follow the leader with physical attributes.

Now, followers gravitate towards people who are popular, business leaders, wealthy or authorities in certain areas.

Basically, people who are above the norm.

We are instinctively attracted or un-attracted to people based on the value they have, because we gain some of that value through association. This is a very powerful concept to understand.

Think about it, if you are lazy and a constant complainer, do you think you’ll attract the right business people? Remember, they gain some of your attitudes through association. Do you think people want to be associated with that?

Absolutely NOT!

People are subconsciously attracted to people with leadership traits and higher personal value.

You have to give people value, and the level of your value will determine the people you attract.

“Leaders Attract Leaders”

Until you understand and learn to add value, you will struggle in business.

There are 3 types of people in business…Alphas, Pre-Alphas and Betas.

  1. Alphas – They are the Chiefs, the Leaders, the Tycoons and the Attracters.
  2. Pre-Alphas – They are the up-and-coming Alphas. They exhibit the qualities of an Alpha. They are starting to take responsibilities and lead others.
  3. Betas – They are the followers, usually with little confidence and not much to offer to others. These are the people who blame everyone and everything for their lack of success.

Think about companies. The Betas are the Staff. The Pre-Alphas are the Managers, and the Alphas are the CEO’s. The differences in wealth between Betas and Alphas are vast.

Which type are you?

If you are a Beta or Pre-Alpha, fortunately, we are not destined to be stuck there.
You have the power to choose to be an Alpha.

Which type you will ultimately belong to is be determined by 2 things:

1. Your State-Of-Mind (Belief).
2. Your Willingness to Acquire the Knowledge and Skills to be an Alpha.

It’s not determined by your money, your current education, your status or others.

Only YOU can decide where you want to be.

Your State-Of-Mind or Belief needs to be strong and clear.

Your Belief has to hold up to challenges and criticism by others.

You have to truly believe in what you are doing and the path you are taking. But make sure what you are doing and the path you choose results in adding value to yourself and to others.

The only way for you to offer value to others is to add value to yourself. You cannot teach what you haven’t learned.

So, you need to be an avid student. Learn all you can about what you are pursuing.

When a prospect is looking to join a network marketing company, they are looking for someone who can guide, teach and mentor them to where they want to go.

If you can’t offer that, they will go with someone who can.

Your goal is to become an Alpha.

You will have to work hard, you will have to struggle a bit, and you will have to push your comfort zone, but you really have no choice.

“There is no such thing as a Beta leader, only Alpha leaders.”

With that been said, every business need Betas. Alphas are not born. They are created. You cannot become a teacher without first being a student.

How fast you go from Beta to Alpha depends on you. You may take 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, even 10 years.

No matter how long, it is a goal worth achieving, because your whole life will change, not just your business, and the world will be thankful for it.

Alphas are the ones who have the power to change the world.

Once you acquire Alpha status, you essentially have branded yourself.

Many people call this YOU INC.

You are now considered a leader, an authority, an expert and a trusted source. People will have no choice but be attracted to you!

2. Giving Away Free Valuable Content
3. Blogging (a must for online)
4. Video Marketing
5. Article Marketing
6. Facebook Page
7. Twitter
8. LinkedIn
9. Forums
10. Connect with Other Leaders

I believe the Network Marketing leaders of the future are not those who hold the most home parties, hotel meetings or big events.

The new leaders will the Alphas who can develop systems by leveraging Technology and the Internet, and master relationship building online by providing valuable content.
